Taken early this morning but not had chance to post. Slightly different colouring as I am trying to get used to GIMP2.8. Previously I would add false colour using the colour balance option but this no longer works in 2.8.

One of your best David, off the scale I would say and the colouring is great.  Has GIMP 2.8 got 16 bit processing? 

I like paint.net, but it won't do Luminance and RGB correctly, so have gone to GIMP.  I recently got an older copy of PSP, but just can't get used to it, more practise is required.

Thanks Robin. No 2.8 is still only 8 bit. I will have to have a go with Paint.net. I also thought about picking up a copy of PSP but am still sat on the fence at the moment

Mean time some H alpha from today. Not so much going in on today so just the one close-up with the barlow.
