this is as near to a decent surface mosaic as i have managed. taken on the 2014.07.06, AR regions 12109,10,08,07 2x images stitch together using Autostitch.

the usual Coronado PST/DMK21 set up with a x2 powermate. not sure whether i prefer the "false" colour or the plain mono version that i usually post.

Nice job, I never thought about a surface mosaic like that. I'll keep it in mind though.

thanks, they were all quite closely grouped together and it has very frustrating trying to do a full disc.

Well done, that is pretty damn good, keep at it. I have yet to attempt any solar mosaic.
