Lovely shot, what can you see through the eyepiece of these scopes are they as good as a PST? They seem hard to come by these days.

It's a close run thing between this and your Quark for best solar image of the year. Another superb shot.

Thanks. Astroblagger, you can't see much! Just a purplish disc if you're lucky with no detail.  The human eye is not sensitive to this wavelength and it gets worse the older you get.  Its basically for imaging.  CaK is also very sensitive to atmospherics and t's difficult to process.  Here's a better version I think, with fewer frames stacked.
