First go at the sun! Even though it was coudy!

My first go at imaging the Sun, seemed such a shame not to take an interest in our closest star! Even if it was through the clouds

Using my Canon 600D and BYEOS.

No processing

Nice image. Loads of sunspots. The focus is spot on (its a difficult thing to focus on). I wouldnt worry about the clouds. They can often add to an image (as they do in this case in my opinion). The colour is a bit strange. Its blue. Maybe give it a bit of a tweak with some imaging software and try to get it at least close to "white light".

Did you use a filter of any kind?

Hi, I used the Astrozap Baadar Solar Filter from FLO, will have a go at processing when I have a chance.

My image of the sun came out blue like yours I thought it was because i left my cls-ccd filter clipped in (to see it it is further down in this section ofthe forum just called the sun ) & yes the clouds do add to the shot
