solar filter

Hi everyone I have just got a solar filter from FLO, can I only use it for imaging or can i use it for visual also

there are 2 types of filter

one is better for visual the other for photography

they are normally ND3.8 NOT suitable for visual and ND5 which is for visual but you can also image with it but not so good

ND 3.8 film is for photography.....DO NOT USE THIS FOR VISUAL.

ND 5.0 is for visual.

I have my solar filter from flo & i tried it this afternoon & you can use it for both visual & imaging (see getting started in imaging for the results)
