Ok I am going to Potsdam ny at the end of August. Found out the In laws there have what I understand to be a goto mount. They must align the scope each time they set up with at least two stars then can just enter the name of any star or planet and goto it easily . Since I been wanting this type of mount, I think this is perfect opotunity to test out something before taking the plunge

Yes I will be sure to let you guys know how I liked the scope in particular. I always like trying out something before buying if possible, but of course, most of the time it is not always like that.
