June 30, 2014: Quick H-alpha look in the morning

Recommended Posts

Just managed a quick peek in H-alpha. A big prom was visible on the western limb, some smaller stuff to the east. The large filament near centre disk yesterday is still going strong, slowly moving westwards, and AR 2104 is developing beautifully, with a large arcing filament south and west of the main sunspots. North of that, there is a lot of activity near the limb as well. Hope to get a longer spell later today.

the prom on the western limb is still going strong, some subtle changes over the past hour, the ones to the east seem to have stayed pretty much the same as has the one to the north. AR2104 looked excellent last night and you say is developing well, will be imaging that soon.

love being off work when its sunny!
