Sombrero-north + gx round-up

Into cloudy June and playing catch-up with gx posting etc taken throughout May - sorry for any repeats.  Most images annotated for clarity and included exposure data etc.. 

All taken with my Meade 30cm f/3.4 LX200 SCT + mono SX Lodestar-Mx2 CCD camera + LodestarLive capture s/ware in exposures of just 30sec. 

Gx NGC 4217 in CVn is a northern "Sombrero" lookalike.  Some first-timers for me in larger gx NGC 5529, M49, M106 + SN bc, N4096 and N4100. 

More 1st timers in faint but interesting gx fields in NGC 4241/ 3861/ 5544 - enjoy

Sweet set of results! I am guessing you must be quite some way through the NGC catalogue - out of curiosity do you keep a list of objects and tick them off as such? I was looking to organising my VA sessions and work though the Herschel 400 (as a start), as there are a lot of these I have not observed.

Hi Paul - my computer and backup h/drives are my record going back many years. My image file names (like your auto LL!) = object name / date / exp so fairly easy to to do a PC search :-)
