Umbraldot
There's a nice prominence over the western limb, some nice structure and possibly a detached portion. I'm plagued by cloud so haven't got the fine detail yet. If anyone has better conditions, it's worth a look.
Umbraldot
Just had another brief gap in the cloud. The prominence is a fine loop with multi strands; to the northern end a thin wisp of plasma snakes away from the limb and ends in a strong blob. Another strong prominence to the south of it and three more hearths along the eastern limb, one a nice but quite faint triangular loop.Bloomin' clouds! michael.h.f.wilkinson
Nice report. Unfortunately, I left the LS35 at home because they promised clouds. Guess what, it's clear

Mark at Beaufort
Thanks Umbraldot for the 'heads up'. I just set up the PST to have a look - as you say some nice proms and a very interesting filament (close to sunspot 2071) which I hope takes off. Umbraldot
An up date on this morning. The loop prominence on the NW limb is more of a hedgerow now although the streamer is still there, very faint but long and has lost its bright blob on the end. The arch prominence on the NE limb is still there and stronger. The north/south filament through AR2071 is still present although the plage seen there earlier is less noticeable. Plage seems brighter now with AR2072 mid disk.
