First Look

Got to bust out my new telescope (Celestron 6se) for the first time last night.  It was a bit of a learning curve calibrating things, but not too bad and after only one major oops (entered the wrong time zone), I got things up and running.  First stop, Saturn...and it was AWESOME!!!  I am hooked and now I really can't wait for my new DSLR to show up on Tuesday so I can try my hand at taking some pictures with my new scope.

Saturn certainly is awesome, such a great target to observe,

And the other night, my daughter (3 years old) got to have her first look at Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter.  I don't think she quite grasped exactly what she was looking at, but she wanted to look at every star in the sky
