Thanks John, I have to say the Explorer 150 PL is great for splitting doubles in combination with the Baader Zoom + Baader 2.25 Barlow.

As it's kept mounted on an AZ mount in the summer house it makes for a great grab and go scope.

Finally a confirmed clear split of Izar! It may have been good seeing or it may have been the low moon taking some glare off. But the spilt was clear and the colours nicely defined. Best at 200x in my scope last night.

I'll never get my stars looking like Avtar's sketch. But I'm happy all the same.
