Interesting project although I don't need any cams at the moment as home and office are already covered by IP cams.

I'm deffo going to make one, much cheaper option for Hi-Res CCTV & no need for cable runs.

The night time performance is pretty poor and the fake camera housing is probably not IP rated so may let moisture in.

There is a night mode that the Camera can be set to, i'm looking into that. The OB's is in the field of the security camera anyway so in theory the light will come on should anyone have a go at the obs. As for waterproofing it that shouldn't be an issue.
