Skipper Billy
Was out last night testing my new guiding system and Mars looked lovely so I popped the webcam into the ED80 and fired off a quick video not expecting anything worth seeing. Whizzed it through PIPP and Autostakkert and this popped out which I was quite pleased with for a half hearted casual attempt.I think focus is slightly off but overall I am quite pleased with it. I am VERY new to imaging so any constructive feedback is very welcome.
Northern Soul man
Hi Ya Skip, amazing detail there mate, its surprising how much detail can be picked out, I've not done a great deal with my little Toucam, but from a very hazy, wobbly image due to the height of Mars over the horizon I'm amazed at what can be achieved with the software - but going on your 80mm image, compared to the 11" I use, a really fantastic image - here's one from the CPC to compare. Just goes to show - a really nice image from the 80mm and thanks for sharing.Paul.
Knight of Clear Skies
Nice effort, an RGB align will take care of the blue and red fringes at top left and bottom right. It is amazing what the stacking software can make of a ball of shimmering fuzz.
