M108 Surfboard Galaxy & M97 Owl Nebula

This is a pretty cool target. I chose it because it would be in view all night for my telescope and I could go to bed with the image plan going.

Sadly it was extremely windy, even though I had chosen a spot with protection against the wind, it ruined many subs, nothing guiding can do to help against a wind sail like my 200P! In the end I only used 3 subs, maybe 8-9 were usable, but I somehow got a better result with the 3 absolute best subs. 

3x 600s ISO800 subs.

What a lovely little pair! It always brings a smile to my face seeing the eyes staring dimly back down the scope at me.

Nice sense of scale.
