All of the Moon (well nearly)

So this is my first attempt at a moon mosaic, shame I missed some bits out.

Captured using my Skywatcher 250 and Philips Webcam.

Processed with registax and stitched with Microsoft ICE.

With registax I used Wavelets for the first pane and then saved the setting and used those setting on subsequent panes.

With MS ICE i stitched 2 or 3 at a time to avoid lines

Lesson for next time CAPTURE all of it.

I do have a QHY5 which may give better results ?

Feedback really appreciated.

Regards

Nice result despite  the missing bits. What I do is go over the moon in a very systematic zigzag pattern with plenty of overlap between the images. I then use Autostitch to merge all the images in one batch. This does not give me lines in the mosaic. My first results are here:

Very nice - (I think we've all been there with missing mosaic bits).  Pete Lawrence did an article in April's Sky at NIght mag on planning and taking lunar mosaics.  Might be worth trying to get a copy?
