ISS 15th April - Advice also needed

Hi

First attempt at ISS - canon 500d using 120ED - 1600iso at 1/1250s, manual tracking - unprocessed

Took about 200 photos, hoping to align and stack some that are within short timeframe in attempt to sharpen, problem is as manual tracking the ISS is all over the place in different frames - i.e. top left, bottom right

Had a quick play with some tools eg registax but as space between ISS is so far cant seem to stack - welcome suggestions

Try putting the frames through PIPP , it will select those with the target in frame , centre and crop them making Reg's job easy.

Or use Reg 5 to stack them by manually aligning , Reg 6 doesn't have this feature.

Funny, I just the minute finished watching a video on how to capture it.

It maybe of some use to you.

You may have to forward it a bit to get to the processing.

It's a good tutorial , but processing-wise you'll find that PIPP does quicker and better in one visit than VDub and Castrator do in two ...
