CdC trashes my desktop

When I close CdC the result is to drop the task bar below the bottom of the screen preventing me from closing individual programs. I then have to either shut-down or restart.

Any ideas?

I'd use Stellarium, but can't get it to talk to EQMOD or my mount.

EQMOD is playing silly wotsits as well.

You can always CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up task manager and close down the other programs listed by using the end task option.

To use Stellarium you need the 3rd party stellariumscope plug in to communicate with ASCOM / EQMOD

I'll have a look at Stellariumscope. Using task manager to close other programs is all very well, but that still leaves my desktop in a mess.

It could be that you have your screen resolution set too low.

CDC works at 800x600 on my netbook

I'll have another look at that, but I think it's at it's native resolution. I'm on another laptop ATM so It'll be a while for me to boot it up.

I also need to find out why a slew from beta Geminorum to M44 left the 'scopes pointing somewhere near the south pole
