NGC 2024, IC 434, A Reprocess of the data as Farewell to Orion

Hi all,

Another reprocess of data from 30/11/ 2013, just to remind myself that we do get the odd clear night in sunny Manchester, The last sub was taken at 2.18 am. As Orion is now dissapearing in the early hours of the evening I thought that this might be a suitable tribute to this wonder of the Northern skies.

Ascension 80mm F6 Apo Triplet, Atik 428 EXC @ -10C with an IDAS P2 filter all on HEQ5 Pro guided by PHD. 15 X 600s subs, with 110 Bias, 51 Flats and a handful of Darks. All the data were stacked and processed in PI and a conversion to PNG and size reduction in PS. Hope that you like it.  The blue border on the left is something to do with the ATIK I believe.
