ED100 + Vixen Porta mount

I am looking for a ED100 for quick observations and I like know if this setup can be a good system with the Vixen mount for this purpouse.

Yes you would have a perfectly balanced outfit. The ED 100 is a cracking planetary and lunar scoop with excellent CA free optics

I've been using a William Optics 90mm scope on the Vixen Porta and it handles it well and is easy to carry in one go.  Balance is important, but easy to get right  You may want to think about some vibration suppression pads.  When I used a 125 Mak for planetary on the porta vibration did become more of an issue, but try it first and see if you feel you need them.

The ED100 is quite a lightweight scope so you shouldn't have too many problems..
