Emission nebula in N - NE sky?

Hi guys,

After having taken the plunge and modifying my Canon I'm looking for a test object once the moon is back to nowhere to be seen.

It's gotta be northern / northeastern sky due to my location.

Any suggestions on what to go for?

How about NGC 40, the Bow Tie Nebula in Cepheus

Yes and I was out until midnight last night and Cygnus (Sadr region) was up although quite low. This gives you wide field options.
