DSLR Jupiter and moons

500 frames in BYEOS at x5, camera prime focus, ISO 800 .160s
there was a very bright star also in shot but didn't come out in the avi

That's a good one. If you lower the exposure you should be able to show the cloud banding in Jupiter.

yeah I could have got it better but not to bad considering I had 25 mph winds and dodging cloud
this was just to get me on target early on and get me lined up to try some DSO
which I managed to do a bit of despite atrocious weather conditions

all in all a plus night

nice start, a widefield really does capture all the moons easily and would make a great animation.
