help fitting a canon 350d onto a celestron C6

hi I have a revelation T adapter and I was wondering if I need the T ring or the T2 for it to all connect?..im very new at this

What size is it 1.25 or 2 inch?

I use a T2 and screw that onto my 1.25 adapter
BTW I'm just up the road from you in Blantyre

I think you need one of these.....If you can configure it to use a 2" it would be a lot better....

if the 1.25 is threaded it should screw into a T2 ring

yep you want a Canon T2 mount ring. it will have the usual canon bayonet style fitting.

you remove your lens pop on the T2 mount ring, then your ready for the revelation adapter. 

if the revelation adapter is like the one i have, that also allows eyepiece projection (a-focal)

you can unscrew the nose cone and this itself screws direct to a T2 mount ring.

WORD OF WARNING : !!!! 

now M42 is a screw in mount system for older camera lens units, these lenses will screw onto the

T mount, but the T-mount will eat and chew up the lens threads, they are of a different pitch size.

so must Never be attached to a T-mount, only use a M42 adapter plate for old camera lenses and

not your T-mount ring

DO NOT ATTACH  M42 CAMERA LENSES TO A T-MOUNT ADAPTER
