It was five tiles, although four would have sufficed .

Very nice image and a very nice mosaic, I would be pleased with that capture.

If you use a Barlow and shoot more tiles you would extract a little more detail. I shoot 12 tiles of 600 frames each with a Lunt60 and DMK41 with about 30% overlap on each tile, it gives a lot of resolution.

This is a DMK21 so we'd need an awful lot of tiles if barlowed! I really do need to find a camera with a bigger chip, though.

Nice disk. I did use the 2.5x Powermate on my LS35 to capture the sun on my DMK21. Works, but I needed 37 tiles first time round, I think, and managed to cut back to 29 later.

Fun though
