Saturn, 26th Jan + tilt comparison

Hi all,

Here's a capture of Saturn from the early morning of the 26th January when the seeing wasn't bad but the transparency left something to be desired. The comparison with a shot I took last April shows the significant difference in tilt angle this time round. The comparison isn't like-for-like though as Saturn will appear to open up again as we head into late spring 2008.

That's very nice Pete, and certainly does show how much the 'rings' have closed.

I believe that they will 'edge on' to us in 2009.
