phobos?

Spent some time doing visual last night, while eyeballing Mars I noticed possibly phobos? :?

Anyway grabbed a quick Avi and over processed it to be able to see it, most of the wavelets pulled right up, taken about 20-30hrs

Hi Trevor. What time did you capture the AVI? You could take a look at a planetarium program to check the position of Phobos at that point and see if it matches up.

I was out on Thursday night, and thought I'd managed to spot Deimos - I was pretty chuffed as it's something like mag 13! When I checked Starry Night, Deimos was right where I saw it - I was thrilled until I realised that I hadn't taken the reversal of the image into account. It turned out to be a mag 9.5 star. Oh well...

North is at the bottom.
