DSO Binoculars

I purchased a monopod and trigger head the other day to try my ST80 on as a grab and go. Unfortunately, the ST80 feels a little unbalanced for my liking.

Now, with only N/NW skies available to me out the front of my flat I would like a pair of bins for DSO that would match the ST80 with an 8mm lens or better it without having to sell a kidney.

What size/magnification would I be looking at, at a good price?

Going to play it safe and go with the highly recommended revelation 15x70s.

I cant imagine you'll get better views from any bins than the st80 with the 8mm, maybe a pair of 20x80 mounted or even 25x100 but still I think you could go deeper with the scope

Head over this way sometime and allow me to introduce you to my 37x100 binocular. I think it will change your mind.
