Atik 314L+ next step up?

Hello im wandering which atik camera is the next one up (Larger sensor) from the Atik 314L+ and how much it costs??

I would say that many people upgrade from the 314L+ to a 460 or 490. These are both low noise Sony chips. If you want something bigger still then you are looking at the 8300 chip.

The 383 has a lot of chip surface for the price. The Sony chipped cameras are quieter but it really is a tough call to decide whether you prefer Kodak space or Sony freedom from noise. Noise does calibrate out but it would be nice not to have it! I use the 11000 which is huge in size and huge in noise, but again calibration cleans it up very well. A bit more effort though.
