Sun rise sunspot

Watched the sun rise over the sea and could clearly see the large sunspot with the naked eye until it got too bright

....and I didn't bring my camera, only the IPad!

Sorry can't see how to correct image!

Nice to even see the sun some have forgotten what it looks like, even I saw it yeaterday for the first time in 8 days.

I just wish I had taken my DSLR and some long lenses, which I nearly did! Would have been a stunning shot just as the sun rose. Ah well....

Hope you get some sunshine soon. As you probably know we have been experiencing a series of storms with wet and windy weather for some time now. However, in between there have been some clear sunny periods (we have one at present) which have been pleasant during the day and very clear if at night. But it would be good to return to some more settled weather.
