Yeah good enough for a quick sanity check. I use Astrotortilla/plate solving for precise alignment. I can't see Polaris from where my scope is so need to use other methods for alignment anyway. AT is good when it works but can appear to be a bit temperamental... But since my mount is in a fixed position it's usually just a matter of checking and tweaking (unless I've messed with things!).
