Two £3k Obs and a 70" home made Scope !!

Interestingly it's the apparently dark sky friendly LED lamps that will cause him issue. I started a thread about LED lights a while back and in there there is some good info on how effective they are in reducing the night sky glare. But the draw back is that they cannot be so easily filtered. Although in that same thread there's also talk that the sodium lamps also have a fairly broad spectrum.

If we where all the same it would be quite boring but for your taste does Mike Clements 70" monster note make you drool ?

No because it's too big to use for convensional viewing as you need either a massive ladder or it's more remote viewing.doesn't float my boat sorry
