A Happy New Year to one and all .... 

I've cheated this year , been saving an SDO 2048 every day in order to present much nicer animations than would have been possible with my data ... 

Both best viewed in Fullscreen and in HD.

A whole year in the making, very good. It is interesting to see how some of the really big spots disappear in a couple of days.

What a great idea Loved seeing that Steve. I kept waiting for the giant spot, wondered if I had missed it, then there it was

I'd started off putting my frames next to the SDO offerings in an enlarged canvas for a direct comparison , but as is my way I stopped halfway through January and by the time it came to start the animations I couldn't face trawling through 300+ days to sort it ... 

Maybe next year , maybe ...
