Very small gap to aim through today , no time for refining settings , still not 100% convinced by the 1100D , one more shot at taming it tomorrow otherwise I'll swap it in for another 1000D ... 

1100D + ST120 + 1.8 x Barlow + Scopium wedge + Continuum + IR/UV Block.

1/1250s @ ISO 100 , 6/100 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp 2.8.

Looks OK to me - keep at it with the 1100D it is a much better camera for this sort of thing than the 1000D.

Looks good to me as well Steve. 

Quick question, is a 1.25" wedge big enough for a Canon DSLR?  I might try my 600D when I get back if it is.
