I looked at this picture for ages - and then I read it.

That image is in this months S@N Mag.

I live just north of Richmond Park it is the large Dark patch just to the Southwest of the Centre of London.

I knew it was dark there but I did not realise how well it would stand out.

The sky there is near enough Mag 6 it would make great place for a star party. Unfortunately it is Crown estate land and they don't allow anything to happen on it

But it does make skies to my south much better than I have a right to expect living in London
