First (only!) 5min sub with new mount

After polar aligning my new EQ6 I set up the guidescope and camera last night.  Unfortunately it clouded over but I did manage a single guided 5 min sub of the Pleiades before PHD started pinging away to itself!  Not too bad and the star shapes seem round so, with the limited data, I'm quite happy.  I can't show a PHD graph as I went indoors while the sub was running and when I came back out the graph was a bit of a Mess!  ED120 APO (with reducer/flattener), Canon 1000D, EQ6 with EQMOD, guiding with ST80 and QHY5 and PHD.

Congrats on the purchase, amazing what you can get from a 5min sub. The EQ6 is a fine mount & will serve your ED120 easily.

I have hyper-tuned mine and I'm getting consistent 20min subs     

May upgrade to belt drive next summer.
