Whoops, dodgy stars.......... NGC 206 in Andromeda

Got this sequence at the Kelling autumn SP this year. Skywatcher 150ED and Atik 460ex OSC.

In the windy field I didn't notice that the built in rotator on the focuser was slightly loose, with the result that the stars are a little elongated. Annoying because I didn't spot the cause until I returned home.....so I have a few like this, that up to now I haven't really bothered to process properly. Even so, the pictures are perhaps too pretty to never see the light of day, what do you think?

I would be very happy if my stars were that 'dodgy', lol.

A very nice image. An interesting and unusual framing due to the main subject.

I know they aren't too bad Brent, but the scope is an expensive one that I have on review, and it wouldn't be fair to post a picture with a flaw that was user error without mentioning it The stars actually look worse unstretched, the processing gives them a slight halo which masks the shape a bit.

 I think it's a cracking image, I like this area of Andromeda, it looks so busy with all the Dust lanes and dust bridges between the arms, nice one! Not forgetting NGC 206 of course.
