that's a shame Dave, at the time getting up at 2am to drive out into the country to our dark site in early november didn't sound like a good idea especially as we all had work that day, but now looking back I think it was worth every minute

can't believe it's been a year already! and I guess now all our pics of ISON are unique as it didn't survive the trip around the sun. I'd like to say a huge thanks to all those that have viewed this particular image and commented on it and to the past 12 months of imaging

Nice one. I was just looking at my own pics of comet ISON today. It was fairly easy to get a good shot due to its brightness.
