Thank god the clocks have gone back, Hopefully we can get some serious observing in now. There's only one thing stopping us now " I wonder what that could be " . I have got a feeling that those observing percentages are going to be tumbling shortly.

It looks like we've got a break on Wednesday Pete - I'm off on my travels unfortunately or I would have given you a shout to see if you fancied going out somewhere for the evening. Never mind the best observing days are here- just have some patience, who would have said we'd be 40% plus at this stage of the year.

Hopefully we'll get a few decent chances to observe before Christmas- I'm determined to add Ison to my list for the year.

Looks like the break is coming tonight not Wednesday after all - I'm out until 8 so will have to make do with the bins but got to get your fix when you can at this time of the year.
