After meticulously planning a nights observations and finding out the mount is not working, cursing EQmod, nearly reformatting hard drive, hunting down multimeter, taking stuff to bits, much cussing and swearing and muttering stuff like "they don`t make stuff like they used to etc " Do make sure the mount is switched ON in the first place!!!!!!! Who me? no not I (gulp!)

done that, got the medal. Forgot the first rule of electronics. If it don't work and everything checks out, have you switched it on? Doh

Done that too. And left the bhatinov mask on the end of the scope; left the flip mirror the wrong way; left the scope on the focus star and not gone to the target; been so dewed up couldn't see a thing.... The list is endless, that what makes it such a "fun" hobby....
