Having a nightmare

Hi im still struggling in DSS it wont even stack my old data nicely any more. the first image is 2.25 min from the 10th and i stacked it pretty much the same day as i took the data and it came out quite nice. the 2nd image is the same data but staked today and yesterday it just keeps giving me this rubbish pixel   looking garbage  can any one help?

Are you stacking the JPG's rather than the RAW's by mistake?

nope all raws Tim i cant understand how the first time i stacked it, there was no artifacts and now the image is full of them even though its the same data

That's why I am moving away from DSS and using Iris for calibration, registration and stacking. More work but also more peace of mind.

I have seen something like this before.  The chap upgraded to the latest version and i cured it.  Not sure but what the newest version is.  Dont know if this help

jutst downloading 3.3.2 the older version to see if its the same on that

I don't suppose the check box for "save picture with settings embedded" has unchecked itself?

JB80 afraid it looks like this as soon as it stacks be fore i even get to the saving part

I have also seen pixelated images in DSS after stacking, but in my case it was some kind of image preview issue I think. The saved file looked just fine, it was only the preview in DSS that looked "pixly"
