Sky Atlas

Recommended Posts

Hi all, thought this was the best place to ask this question. I have searched Google and SGL but must be doing something wrong. I was wanting to print and laminate my own sky atlas. Which ones would people recommend for using with my tel rad finder and any chance of a few links ;-)

Also what do people sue as a template for using the telrad over the maps?

Many Thanks

Mike

I neglected to say, I've made a couple of Telrad circles just using a red OHP pen on some acetate sheets we had kicking about the office in work.  They do the trick, especially with my copy of the Sky and Telescope pocket atlas which I bought as a result of feedback in the thread.

Cheers

Tony

Thanks baggywrinkle,

or at least my printer thanks you for the exercise. Hadn't come across Taki's atlas, but the 8.5LM is an excellent choice and should be a useful addition at the observatory. Ta.
