Space Ranger Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 It was a windy night in Caithness last night, but that was nothing compared to the space weather conditions.The 1.5million mph solar wind certainly made for a pretty picture by generating some nice colourful aurora that stretched all the way to the zenith.... Glad you like the pic.It's the most sky I've seen the aurora fill for some time - just a pity the clouds were filling a fair chunk of the sky too.
