Quite pleased with how this turned out considering it was very hazy - I think that may have helped bring the colours out. I added Noel's diffraction spikes to give it a bit more zing (sorry purists ).  1100d + Hoya 135mm f2.8 at f4.

Like I said I was quite pleased with how this turned out considering seeing was very poor. I think I might save going after faint fuzzies for the best seeing and concentrate on clusters and asterisms when the seeing isn't so good, i.e. most of the time in Manchester :-(
