Nova Del 18/09/13

After a short break I didn`t know what to expect from Nova Del but despite a full moon tonight got a break in the clouds and stacked 30x5sec shots.

Still active in H alpha and H beta but fading now. Astroart 5 puts it at mag 7.51 but can`t confirm it.

Nice one. I will check the nova out with and without my UHC filter. It should show up a planetary nebula-like blinking effect with respect to nearby stars.

the AAVSO light curve shows the nova around 7.8 mag.
