30 minutes in the Ha Sun - Monday 19th

30 minutes in the sun with my Ha scope this afternoon yielded a nice result.

I did manage to get some snaps this morning though the seeing was wobbly, I wonder if it was because the cloud had only just cleared and dew was steaming up off the grass? Or the ground heating up suddenly? The 2.5x powermate came off sharpish

Very fine images where did you find the Sun yesterday? I think that big filament blew away overnight so you were lucky to catch it.

Sunny Gateshead, Tyne & Wear between 4:40 and 5:10. Actually that included set up and take down time, so it was a very compact imaging session. I saw a fair bit of blue coming across sat at my desk so had a sneaky late tea break.
