Hi,

Managed to get some scope time in, nights have been impossible - never get a free and cloudless night so switched back to solar. Not a whole lot better as spent most of the session waiting for the clouds to clear...

Here is a full disk mosaic taken with the ST-80 and QHY5L-II, 500 frames down to 125 via PPIP and AS!2

Some really nice detail there. ST-80s are a nice little scope, ideal for white light solar.

Looks good. Perhaps pushed the sharpening a little hard giving you the ring around the outer edge?

See what you mean, tried some high pass and should have masked the edge really - still working though processing (techniques and software) so all feedback is very welcome.

Lovely colours and good detail.

I suppose that's the blessing and curse of solar imaging. All you need is a small bit of clear to image, but it tempts you to wait for that bit of clear!
