NGC 6888, The Crescent Nebula

Recommended Posts

Hi To All,

This is a quick and dirty capture of NGC 6888, an emission nubula in Cygnus, with a magnitude of 10 it is quite dim but I had a crack at it a couple of nights ago even though the sky was quite hazy and the seeing was unsteady. It is a stack of 10 subs of 600s each, with an SW ED 80 @ F7.5, Atik 428 EC osc, and 50 mm guiding scope with ASI 12MC, the mount was my SW EQ5 pro. There is quite a bit of star bloat and I do need to learn how to control the number of stars as the field is quite busy. Hope you enjoy it anyway.

Regards,

A.G
