French stargaze

I convinced my Mum to buy a scope as she has a similar interest in astronomy, but lives in the south of France. She managed to get a Skywatcher 90 Eq2 delivered to her by a German company.

During my week visit, we've finally had the first clear skies (usually clear skies every night!) and managed to get some cracking views of Saturn and of course the Moon.

I have a Skywatcher 200 Dobsonian at home, but was very impressed with the 90. I'm tempted to downsize!

A 90mm scope is not to be laughed at. Under the right conditions it will give cracking views of the planets and Moon.
