I know, my dream solar scope. I decided that as I'm likely to be studying the sun for the next few years for Uni it was a good way to invest part of an endowment that just matured. And Ken was doing a show discount at the recent IAS so I got the largest filter for less than the retailer price of the middle size filter. It would have been rude not to take up such a good offer

Yep and now got it out - loads of detail visually despite high cloud :-D Got it on an alt az at the moment for speed of set up (looked a bit thundery). Will go and get the driven mount and stick a camera in!!
