Saturn 6/6/13

My first attempt at Saturn using a celestron astromater 130, an xbox webcam and a 2x barlow. Came out quiteSaturn 6-6-13.bmp well i think.

Well done. It's a start, and I would have thought that you should be able to improve on that with the equipment you have.

The barlow i've got is just a cheap one meaning trying to get a half decent focus can be quite difficult. I shot it from my back garden with quite bad light pollution. Not gonna give up trying again if the weather is good tonight.

Don't fret. Saturn is a tough planet to master. I still don't have it mastered yet, and I have almost 2 years worth of attempts.

You made a good start, and you will improve your technique as you gain experience.

Do you mean you stacked 60 frames when you said 60 downloads?

I tried to sharpen it a little, but it isn't much better than your original.

I think you'll find that my posting went a bit skew wiff and the 60 downloads is the number of times the picture has been downloaded lol
