Hi Wolfgangwand - welcome! If you're interested, a fledgling astronomy society called CLaSS, or Central Lancashire Stargazing Society, has started up over the last few months. We have a Facebook page where the call for meetings gets put up quite often when the weather is right. There are over 60 members of the Facebook page, although probably only about 10 members go out on a regular basis. Look up CLaSS on Facebook and request membership. :-D
